One Small Step For MAD, One Giant Leap for MADD-kind

Welcome to life after MADD's Rendezvous... does it at all seem different?
Are the birds chirping more, and the flowers seem just a wee bit more colourful?
It's Delhi and it's May, so the sun possibly couldn't be shining any brighter; but I'm sure you feel just that little bit better inside.

After all, you made a difference. We know it's not like you got rid of illeteracy or crime, but every revolution begins with one small step, and one seemingly disillusioned fool ready to stand up to whatever and whoever comes his way. Yesterday, pledges were made to support MADD in whatever way possible. New volunteers signed up to teach, Financial support was pledged to support MADD, Offers for help and assistance with everything from  fundraising and bookkeeping to publishing and advertising were flowing with a sort of reckless, yet essentially goodhearted freedom. And yes, for a change, the future seems a good place to go to.

Photos from yesterday's interacations (including certain MADD Core Team Members devouring sandwiches like it was going out of fashion!) will be up on Facebook later today. MAD Dilli will also soon bring out a newsletter covering yesterday's Rendezvous in all possible textual and photographic glory. Most of all, we'll all work harder, be less cynical and believe in all things beautiful a little bit more. Because everytime we meet new people like we did yesterday, they inspire us and redeem our faith that the people in this world aren't as horrible as they're  made out to be.
